NPCs are non playable characters found throughout the realms.
- Fountain stories are considered non-canon. Official NPCs are sometimes referenced in some of the stories in the Fountain, but anything from them will not be documented on this page due to the non-canon status.
Butlers[]
- Main article: Butlers
The Butlers - Adam, Ashe, Brandon, Demetrius, and Zed - are a group of NPCs originally found in the Ballroom for the Dance. Some of them have been reused outside of the ballroom as employees or in positions in other realms.
Cheerleaders[]
Cheerleaders were NPCs originally found on Earth, displaying the four cheerleading outfits made for Royale High. Two of them were seen during the Valentines 2021 update, while the other two were in the scrapped update.
During Halloween 2018, the models of the cheerleaders were modified to fit the Halloween theme.

Jordan[]
Jordan is the fourth cheerleader in the line-up. She uses the Delicate Empress hair, the free light brown hair color, brown eye face, and the red cheerleading outfit.
She makes an appearance during the Valentines 2021 update, at the Black History Month Gallery area. Her outfit during the update uses Chloe hair, brown eye face, and . The accessories she uses are Beverly Hills Head Sunglasses, Aphrodite's Shoulder Bag, and Kingly Kicks
Melanie[]
Melanie is the first cheerleader in the line-up. She uses the Perfectly Fluffy hair, Honey Blonde Highlights hair color, blue eye face, and the pink cheerleading outfit. Her original face and original uniform were removed due to Roblox moderation, though the uniform was later fixed.
She was supposed to make a debut in the Valentines 2021 fix alongside Piper, though the event fix was later scrapped due to the limited amount of time.
Ophelia[]
Ophelia is the third cheerleader in the line-up. She uses the Class Angel hair, the free dark grey hair, blue-grey eye face, and the black cheerleading outfit.
She makes an appearance in the Valentines 2021 update, where she gives the player a lantern at the Docks of Divinia. Her outfit uses the Class Angel hair, custom grey eye face, black sweater outfit. The accessories she uses are Action Booties, though she was also supposed to be wearing Elf Ears. The Elf Ears had an issue loading onto the avatar, which was supposed to be fixed in the scrapped Valentines 2021 update fix.
Piper[]
Piper is the second cheerleader in the line-up. She uses the Miss Amazing at Everything hair, Peachy Princess hair color, aquamarine eye face, and the blue cheerleading outfit.
She was supposed to make a debut in the Valentines 2021 fix alongside Melanie, though the event fix was later scrapped due to the limited amount of time.
Gemma[]
Gemma is an NPC who runs the Diamond Galleria (the diamond purchasing shop window), where players can purchase diamonds with Robux.
Gemma also appeared in the Halloween 2021 event, running Gemma's Diamond Exchange (also known as Gemma's Candy Swap) in Wickery Cliffs. Players could talk to Gemma to exchange one piece of candy for three diamonds.

Ballroom Guards[]
Ballroom guards
The Ballroom Guards are NPCs found inside the Ballroom during the hours for the Dance. Players can click on them, though they do not have any dialogue. Both NPCs use the Knight of the Splintered Sky avatar bundle.
Divinia Guards[]
The Divinia Guards were two NPCs originally found in Divinia.
Unnamed Guard[]
The unnamed Divinia Guard was an NPC found standing at an unnamed building. He uses Chivalry isn't Dead hair, XMermaid hair color, purple-blue eye face, Billowing Cape accessory, and the Knight of Strength avatar bundle.
Leon[]
Leon was a Divinia Guard NPC found standing by the gates. He uses the Mysterious Curls hair, Chocolate Brunette hair color, blue eye face, Billowing Cape accessory, and the Knight of Strength avatar bundle.
On Campus 3, Leon had become the Entrance Guard for the campus and now wears primarily golden armor with light blue heart details and a wields a gold staff with white wings and light blue gem details. He is the only guard not wearing a cape.
Royale High Campus 3 Guards[]
There are in total 12 NPCs serving as guards located at the entrance of Royale High Campus 3, introduced in its release on August 9, 2023. The guards would all bow down to the player when they are in close-proximity to them, with the exception of Exit Guard Aeverie. Each of the guards have various dialogues in different fonts and colors that match the detailing of their armors. All of the dialogues from each of the guards are related to things on Campus or tell about the guard's personality, interests, or behaviors. Additionally during special occasions their lines change and also armour changes, not only for Royalloween, hinted by one of Nathaniel's lines.
Guard Taj[]
Guard Taj is one of the first NPC guards encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with purple details. He is particularly interested in the players studies, and encourages the player to ask for help with their schoolwork if needed, and come to him for tutoring. Taj says he "flourished" in the written exams, but didn't do as well in the practical exams. He claims to have astute knowledge of the ins-and-outs and secret passageways of the castle.
Guard Nathaniel[]
Guard Nathaniel is one the first guards encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with pink details. Nathaniel enjoys electropop music, and admits to crying when people are mean to him. He mentions not being allowed to guard the dungeon anymore, after encountering a creature with "many legs" and "many eyes". He says his mind wanders, and he had a nightmare once of a wasp getting into his armor. In one of his dialogues, he admits to being too scared to go to trading hub, As it intimidates him.
Guard Hans[]
Guard Hans is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with sage green details. Hans dislikes speaking to students, and is snarky and rude towards the player, annoyed by the prospect of the player speaking to him at all. He takes his duties very seriously, and does not want to be distracted. Launcelot finds Hans annoying, likely due to their attitudes being so starkly different.
Guard Phillip[]
Guard Phillip is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with blue details. Phillip is very polite and chivalrous, wanting to do tasks for the player, or escort them places. He appears to make an effort to show gratitude quite often. Phillip takes pride in his job, and is willing to even put down his life to protect Royale High and its students.
Guard Oliver[]
Guard Oliver is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with light pink details. He is anxious and dislikes eye contact. He's afraid of the dungeons at Royale High. He denys being shy, saying he's just nervous, because he wants his words to be thoughtful, and helpful, and he dislikes people who are careless with their words. Though Oliver says he was never stationed in the dungeons, Taj recalls the opposite.
Guard Vander[]
Guard Vander is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with dark purple details. Vander's dialogue is very cryptic, alluding to secrets at Royale High. He seems to be keeping something from the player, saying the player isn't "the one" and there's nothing he wants to "reveal" to them, yet.
Guard Zalia[]
Guard Zalia is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. She is dressed in primarily golden armor with dark rose pink details. Zalia seems to try to keep the other guards in line, namely Alexander, who falls asleep on duty. Zalia advises the player to adhere strictly to the school rules. She talks about taking many night shifts, "Since everyone else is so reluctant to do them."
Guard Alexander[]
Guard Alexander is an NPC guard encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. They dressed in primarily golden armor with lime green details. Alexander can be seen sleeping with "Z's" coming off of them. They love snacks, and are a bit forgetful. They say the word "like" a lot, and can be heard over the radio in the front office asking Poppy if she'd like to get a bite to eat sometime.
Guard Launcelot[]
Guard Launcelot is one of the last NPC guards encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with light blue details. He is likely named after Launcelot, the co-owner or Royale High, that is. Launcelot loves his job, and dogs, comparing dogs to a queen to be protected. He gets excited to see the player on campus. He sometimes asks the player if he can "take a screenie with you." He complains about not being able to fit glasses under his helmet. Launcelot mentions owning a dog named Cupcake.
Guard Edward[]
Guard Edward is one of the last NPC guards encountered along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with red details. He prides himself on having a sharp memory and looking his best. He gets weekly manicures. His dialogue often contains sparkle emojis around words for emphasis. Edward reminds the player to wear sunscreen, and says he has worn it every day since he was young, as well as using products on his skin. He also mentions having "toned and chiseled legs".
Exit Guard Aeverie[]
Exit Guard Aeverie is one of two unmasked NPC guards located at the doorway entrance of Royale High Campus 3. Unlike the other Campus 3 guards, the colors of her scepter and cape are mismatched, being light-pink and light-blue respectively.
Pearl[]
Pearl by the sign-up board
Pearl is the Miss Universe pageant organizer, standing by the sign-up board on Sunset Island. She uses the Odette hair, Honey Blonde Highlights hair color, custom blue eye face, pink glam outfit. The accessories she uses are Crowned Royalty Sweetheart Earrings, Princess Poofy Sleeves, Long Elegant Gloves, a modified Queen of the Ocean skirt, and a Miss Universe sash.
Pearl updated for Halloween 2022
Originally Pearl did not have a name during the initial release of Sunset Island, though in late February 2021, Kateka22 made a poll[1] on Twitter to decide her official name.
Captain Whiskers[]

Captain Whiskers, also known as the Grumpy Man or Grumpy Voice, was an unknown character speaking from a locked house in Divinia. After Divinia was being rampaged by a major storm, he used a ship to sail away and escape, crashing onto Diamond Beach after being tricked by a siren. He lost his ship inside a cave, containing some of his only belongings from Divinia. He now resides in the lighthouse on Diamond Beach and upkeeps the lighthouse to help other sailors. He sometimes visits Frostbite on some evenings and orders strawberry ice cream in a cup, leaving generous tips. He has two cats, Jiji and Momo.
There is also a Roblox account made to represent Captain Whiskers as part of the secret lighthouse questline in Diamond Beach, ArrShiverMeWhiskers.
Frostbite employees[]
The ice cream shop in Diamond Beach, Frostbite, has multiple employee NPCs as part of the secret lighthouse questline, though only one can be talked to outside of it. ( The employees working off can't be seen or talked to before and after the quest. )
Darla[]
Darla is the owner of Frostbite, and is visible at all times. She can be interacted with to order ice cream, and also has to be talked to in part of the secret lighthouse questline.
Originally, when Frostbite was first opened, it was not popular, hurting Darla's confidence. After Captain Whiskers visited and enjoyed the ice cream, it gave her the inspiration to continue developing her shop and to hire more employees.
Katie[]
Katie is one of the employees at Frostbite that works later hours on certain days. They can only be met and interacted with during part of the secret lighthouse questline, at the top of the hill near the skytram station on the picnic basket, where they incorrectly believe the old man that visits in the evenings orders cotton candy ice cream in a cone.
Viv[]
Viv (also Vivienne or Vivianne - both spellings are used) is one of the employees at Frostbite that works later hours on certain days. They can only be met and interacted with during part of the secret lighthouse questline, standing near HotHead, where they incorrectly believe the old man that visits in the evenings orders mint ice cream in a cone.
Luke[]
Luke is one of the employees at Frostbite that works later hours on certain days. They can only be met and interacted with during part of the secret lighthouse questline, sitting on the jetski docks, where they correctly recall the old man that visits in the evenings orders strawberry ice cream in a cup.
Dominic[]
Dominic at the lifeguard building
Dominic is the lifeguard at the new Diamond Beach. Interacting with him starts a quest to clean up trash, which when completed rewards the Swimmer Flippers.
Violet & Bud[]
Violet and Bud were two NPCs added during the Easter 2021 update. In Divinia Park, Violet has a physical appearance to the players while Bud can only be seen in the Sur-Prize Shop and the icon for the update.
Originally Violet was supposed to have an appearance prior to the Easter 2021 update, as from the note on a flower cart in Earth back in 2018. Barbie had one version of Violet[2] while ReddieTheTeddy made another version,[3] which is used in the Easter update.
Archie[]
Archie in Blackwood Manor
Archie was introduced on October 23, 2021 in Blackwood Manor as part of part 2 of the Halloween 2021 event. They serve the purpose of explaining the ghost hunting tutorial to players, but could also have been interacted with for some story context.
According to Archie, they were born over twenty years ago and grew up in Wickery Cliffs, but later left the town. However, later in life, they fell asleep on a train and woke up at Wickery Station. They were looking into researching the area, but were led into Blackwood Manor, where they now try to learn about the ghosts there. They are nonbinary, but to what specification is intended to be up to the player.[4]
After the Halloween 2021 event, stixxntricks released more dialogue about Archie that went unused in the event.[5] In this dialogue, Archie's full name is Archibald, and they are a ghost researcher, though are separately interested in the concept of death and the science of the unnatural. The technical hub in Blackwood Manor is revealed to be their self-built lab, but they have not progressed far in their research as they are afraid of ghosts. They do not have any friends, suggesting that their dialogue indicating they wish to talk to the player more that was added into the game may indicate they were looking to befriend the player.
Upperclassman Poppy[]
Upperclassman Poppy, better known as Poppy, is an NPC introduced following the phase-by-phase Summer 2023 release of Royale High Campus 3. She works as an upperclassman volunteer at the Royale High Enrollment Desk at the Main Office. She graciously welcomes the player to the new school, and introduces them to the mechanics of the game, specifically the various features on the interface, as well as how to navigate the campus (and life). She also hands the player their Student ID and their respective dorm key, along with giving the player a free level-up after talking about levels. Past the introductory dialogue, she serves as a help-desk school nurse, giving the player an ice-pack if they feel unwell.
Poppy is dedicated to her job, and has a hyperactive, bubbly personality, and is very warm and friendly to the player. Her dialogue also reveals her peculiar obsession with scents, like sniffing Student ID cards. Poppy is also the first-ever Royale High NPC who actually has a voice-actor, and facial animation, aside from body animation. She is also on the teleportation map, on the icon representing the Main Office.

- Ice7 appeared as an interactive quest NPC at New Years 2019, New Years 2021 and New Years 2022. He also appears in the seats at Sunset Island during the pageant.
- Calinpj04 appeared as an interactive quest NPC at New Years 2022 and could be seen at at New Years 2021.
- Kateka22 appeared as an interactive NPC at New Years 2019 and New Years 2022, and could be seen at New Years 2021. She also appears in the seats at Sunset Island during the pageant.
- Sukimeki appeared as an interactive NPC at New Years 2019.
- OceanOrbs appears as an interactive NPC in Autumn 2019 Earth and as an interactive quest NPC in Diamond Beach.
- ReddieTheTeddy appeared as an interactive quest NPC at New Years 2021 and New Years 2022.
- JamJooJoo appeared as an interactive quest NPC at New Years 2021 and New Years 2022, and can be seen in new Diamond Beach.
- Vioncii appeared as an interactive quest NPC at New Years 2021 and New Years 2022.

- Stixxntricks appeared as an interactive NPC that rewards an item at New Years 2022.

- Cybernova (THEREALCYBERNOVA), a YouTuber, appeared as an interactive quest NPC at the New Years 2019 event and appears in the seats at Sunset Island during the pageant.
- missmudmaam, a clothing designer, appeared as an interactive NPC at the New Years 2019 event and appears in the seats at Sunset Island during the pageant.
- imkatt, an artist and activist from Royale High's Twitter community, appeared as an interactive NPC at the Valentines 2022 event's Black History Month area to inform and educate the player about Lunar New Year.
- OracleMoonlight, an artist from Royale High's Twitter community, appeared as an interactive NPC at the Valentines 2022 event's Lunar New Year area to inform and educate the player about Lunar New Year.
- New Years 2019 was intended as a small community showcase event, and featured many minor NPCs of notable at the time community members:

Removed NPCs[]
This section is for Royale High NPCs who were added to the game at some point, but were later removed, are absent in all updates following their removal, and whose existence is unacknowledged in canon (Dev and Player NPCs are exempt from this definition).
Hokuto Hidaka[]
The removed NPC from Campus 1
Hokuto Hidaka was an NPC who appeared in Royale High Campus 1, but was removed shortly after. He gave players a tutorial of the game and introduced them to its features and interface, and he also played a role in giving the player their first crown.[6]
He was implied to be an organized and punctual student, as one of his dialogues stated that his favorite feature of Royale High Campus 1 was the ability to see his class schedule.[7]
