Levels (also known as Grade Levels, Level Up Stars, Gold Stars, or Sparkly Stars) are a core feature across all realms in Royale High. Leveling up awards the player with diamond prizes, Sparkly Star Achievements, and access to some realms that require higher levels such as Intergalactic Trading Hub.
In Campus 3, players can do new Quests, sleep, shower, or eat to get Sparkly Star Achievements.
Previously, there was a Gem & Crown Roll. The system has now been adjusted to only show the crowns the player has earned. Players can no longer roll as it was removed early of 2019.

Previously, the players with the top 100 levels were able to sit on thrones reserved exclusively for the top 100 levels in Earth or Divinia, alongside stand versions of the leaderboards.
Feature access[]
The Intergalactic Trading Hub requires a level of 75 or higher to access. In Loving Memory of Lizzy Winkle requires a level of 10 or higher to enter.
Some previous in-game features required a specific level to enter, such as:
- Sunset Island was only accessible by levels 40 and up for a short time after release for testing purposes and bug fixing.
- The town wheel was originally locked to levels 5 and up for a short time and can now be found in Castle's Heart and on Earth.
- In Royale High Campus 3, certain phases of its release are beta test access by levels 500+ before being released to everyone else.
- Some areas in Campus 3 are locked for certain levels, such as the Teachers Lounge in the Front Office which is only accessible for levels 1500 and up.

The Gem & Crown Wheel[]
The gem and crown wheel could be spun by players on leveling up or by joining Classic Royale (Campus) in it's beta days. They could also be bought with diamonds originally.
Every five levels the player would receive a gem roll, and every ten levels the player would receive a crown roll. Players could decorate different colors of crowns with different colored gems, which players could wear as accessories. The crown wheel provides crowns of various colors. They could be accessed by clicking on the player's level, shown on the right side of the screen.
The design must be saved by pressing the "Save Crown Design!" button on the bottom of the menu after the player makes changes to the crown, or the design will not get updated.
This feature was removed around 2019 in which players can no longer spin for gems or new crowns. However, older players that have earned these items throughout their run can still wear and decorate them. Newer players are allowed to spin the crown wheel once, and this crown will be the only one they can wear without any gems on it. The item will appear under the name "Crown" in the player's inventory and will look like a plain white crown without any gems on a black background. This is also where the players can remove the crown by simply clicking it. The crown is not tradeable, and holds no actual value.
