The guards are various sets of NPCs that debuted on January 19, 2019 with the dance update to Royale High Campus 2. Another pair of guards - Unnamed Divinia Guard and Leon - were introduced on February 1, 2019, during the release of Divinia. Then on August 9, 2023, 11 new guards were introduced with the release of the Castle Entrance.

Ballroom Guards[]
The Ballroom Guards are a pair of NPCs found inside the Ballroom on Campus 2 during the hours for the Dance. Players can click on them, though they do not have any dialogue. Both NPCs use the Knight of the Splintered Sky avatar bundle.
Unnamed Guard[]
The unnamed Divinia Guard was an NPC found standing at an unnamed building. He uses Chivalry isn't Dead hair, XMermaid hair color, purple-blue eye face, Billowing Cape accessory, and the Knight of Strength avatar bundle.
He was removed on August 31, 2019, when Divinia was replaced with Earth as a lobby.
Leon[]
Leon was a Divinia Guard NPC found standing by the gates. He uses the Mysterious Curls hair, Chocolate Brunette hair color, blue eye face, Billowing Cape accessory, and the Knight of Strength avatar bundle.
On Campus 3, Leon had become the Entrance Guard for the campus and now wears primarily golden armor with light blue heart details and a wields a gold staff with white wings and light blue gem details. He is the only guard not wearing a cape.
Guard Taj[]
Guard Taj is an NPC guard found near the fireplace in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. Originally he was found on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with purple details. He is particularly interested in the players studies, and encourages the player to ask for help with their schoolwork if needed, and come to him for tutoring. Taj says he "flourished" in the written exams, but didn't do as well in the practical exams. He claims to have astute knowledge of the ins-and-outs and secret passageways of the castle.
Guard Nathaniel[]
Guard Nathaniel is an NPC guard found along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with pink details. Nathaniel enjoys electropop music, and admits to crying when people are mean to him. He mentions not being allowed to guard the dungeon anymore, after encountering a creature with "many legs" and "many eyes". He says his mind wanders, and he had a nightmare once of a wasp getting into his armor. In one of his dialogues, he admits to being too scared to go to trading hub, As it intimidates him.
Guard Hans[]
Guard Hans is an NPC guard found along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with sage green details. Hans dislikes speaking to students, and is snarky and rude towards the player, annoyed by the prospect of the player speaking to him at all. He takes his duties very seriously, and does not want to be distracted. Launcelot finds Hans annoying, likely due to their attitudes being so starkly different.
Guard Phillip[]
Guard Phillip is an NPC guard found along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. In Campus 4, he could be found on the right side of the entrance to the School Office building. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with blue details. Phillip is very polite and chivalrous, wanting to do tasks for the player, or escort them places. He appears to make an effort to show gratitude quite often. Phillip takes pride in his job, and is willing to even put down his life to protect Royale High and its students.
Guard Oliver[]
Guard Oliver is an NPC guard found by the left entrance to the Student Dormitories in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. Originally he was found on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with light pink details. He is anxious and dislikes eye contact. He's afraid of the dungeons at Royale High. He denys being shy, saying he's just nervous, because he wants his words to be thoughtful, and helpful, and he dislikes people who are careless with their words. Though Oliver says he was never stationed in the dungeons, Taj recalls the opposite.
Guard Vander[]
Guard Vander is an NPC guard found by the upstairs piano in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. Originally he was found on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with dark purple details. Vander's dialogue is very cryptic, alluding to secrets at Royale High. He seems to be keeping something from the player, saying the player isn't "the one" and there's nothing he wants to "reveal" to them, yet.
Guard Zalia[]
Guard Zalia is an NPC guard found near the bottom of the stair case in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. In Campus 4, she could be found on the left of the entrance to the School Office building. Her original location was on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. She is dressed in primarily golden armor with dark rose pink details. Zalia seems to try to keep the other guards in line, namely Alexander, who falls asleep on duty. Zalia advises the player to adhere strictly to the school rules. She talks about taking many night shifts, "Since everyone else is so reluctant to do them." She's also allergic to pollen.
Guard Alexander[]
Guard Alexander is an NPC guard found by the stairs leading up to the Cafeteria in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. Originally they were found on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. They dressed in primarily golden armor with lime green details. Alexander can be seen sleeping with "Z's" coming off of them. They love snacks, and are a bit forgetful. They say the word "like" a lot, and can be heard over the radio in the front office asking Poppy if she'd like to get a bite to eat sometime.
Guard Launcelot[]
Guard Launcelot is an NPC guard found by the right side of the stair case in the Castle's Heart on Royale High Campus 3. Originally he was found on the bridge with the other guards prior to the release of the Castle's Heart. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with light blue details. He is likely named after Launcelot, the co-owner or Royale High, that is. Launcelot loves his job, and dogs, comparing dogs to a queen to be protected. He gets excited to see the player on campus. He sometimes asks the player if he can "take a screenie with you." He complains about not being able to fit glasses under his helmet. Launcelot mentions owning a dog named Cupcake.
Guard Edward[]
Guard Edward is an NPC guards found along the entrance bridge towards Royale High Campus 3. He is dressed in primarily golden armor with red details. He prides himself on having a sharp memory and looking his best. He gets weekly manicures. His dialogue often contains sparkle emojis around words for emphasis. Edward reminds the player to wear sunscreen, and says he has worn it every day since he was young, as well as using products on his skin. He also mentions having "toned and chiseled legs".
Exit Guard Aeverie[]
Exit Guard Aeverie is one of two unmasked NPC guards located at the doorway entrance in the Castle's Heart leading to the Castle Entrance of Royale High Campus 3. Unlike the other Campus 3 guards, the colors of her scepter and cape are mismatched, being light-pink and light-blue respectively.
