The boat to Sunset Island
Sunset Island is one of the realms of Royale High, released on July 17th, 2019. It is accessible from the boats docked by the ocean in Earth (and previously in Divinia), and can be teleported to on the map.
Players that joined on the first day of Sunset Island's release received the "Sunset Island: Here From Day 1" badge.
Unlike other realms (except the Trading Hub and Fantasia Getaway Resort), in Sunset Island you cannot fly.
On October 3rd, 2022, along with the 2022 Halloween update, the island was decorated by Vioncii along with new themes. The map icon also got updated with new artwork.
On December 13, 2023, the 2023 Royalloween changes were removed, and the new RH3 UI’s were added.

Sunset Island has three chests that can be found. Two of them reward accessories, while the other rewards 250 diamonds. The chests can be found in a tent, in the ocean, and in the pier.

Diamonds[]
The diamond seashells list
Diamonds, appearing as various colors of seashells, spawn underwater in the ocean surrounding the island or on the beaches nearby. A list of base amounts can be seen in a hidden cave. There is a list that most people keep. Based on the color of the shell is how many diamonds the player will get from it.
They can otherwise be obtained by participating in the Pageant event. The third-place winner receives the prize of 400 diamonds and 100 EXP, the second-place winner receives 600 diamonds and 200 XP, and the first place winner receives the grand prize of 1,000 diamonds and 300 XP. If the player doesn't win, the player will still be given 200 diamonds and 50 XP, you also get 90 diamonds if you vote for others with your roses.
Royale Universe Pageant[]
The pageant stage
The Royale Universe Pageant is an event that occurs on the island.
To enter the pageant, players must sign up on the board near the docks. When a player clicks on the board, their player will automatically walk up to it and, with a colour-changing pen in their left hand, write their username on the board in a random color and random font. Firstly, the player will be prompted to select Miss, Mr., or Mx., then the player can select or enter a Realm name to represent. Before March 3, 2021, there were only two options: Mr. and Miss., which makes it difficult for gender-neutral players to choose one.
The pageant house
A theme will be randomly chosen out of a list of 62+ (All of which can be viewed here), and the players are given 10 minutes to make an outfit that matches the theme.
After the dressing time expires, participants are teleported to the stage, and three randomly chosen players are given 30 seconds to answer the questions asked by Adam, the host. For the list of questions, visit this page.
After the question portion of the pageant, players will be teleported backstage behind the runway, where they will then take turns strutting down the catwalk. The order in which the players will walk and be positioned during voting is determined by the placement of their name on the sign-up board.
The reward crown and bouquet
Everyone in the server (even non-participants) has to participate in voting, where they give roses to the player they vote for (the more roses one receives, the higher the chance of winning) within a time limit of 35 seconds. Each player has 3 roses to give away to a participant, and they cannot vote for themselves.
- 30 diamonds are given to the player for every rose they give.
- Roses that aren't given to players during voting will be given to a randomly selected participant.
Starry Night Campsite
The top three most voted players win the pageant. Third place winners get 400 diamonds and 100 EXP, second place winners get 600 diamonds and 200 EXP, and first place winners receive 1,000 diamonds and 300 EXP. The other participants are given 200 diamonds and 50 EXP. Between each pageant is an intermission that lasts 2 minutes and 30 seconds. After the game, all participants of the prior pageant are teleported automatically to the Starry Night Campsite for an intermission, where they can sleep or eat s'mores until the next pageant. The intermission is 3 minutes long.

Pool Smoothie Bar
The Pool Smoothie Bar is an interactive food activity for players to mix their own drinks. There are two stations with two blenders each, meaning up to 4 players can make a smoothie at a time.
Smoothie Bar menu
At one of these stations, players can click on the "Make a Smoothie" button at the bottom of a blender. This triggers a Smoothie Menu GUI to pop up on the player's screen. Players can then click the "Make!" button underneath the smoothie flavour of their choice, which brings up a notepad with the recipe on the left-hand side of the player's screen.
Players must follow the recipe in order to make their smoothie. The mechanics are similar to baking, but with intractable fruit dispensers.
The six smoothies are the Island Passion, Strawnana Sunset, Rainbow Paradise, Orange Cream Dreams, Just Peachy, and Strawberry Limeade.
Once the players have created their smoothie, they can drag a circle in the center of their screen to either the left or the right; dragging left pours the smoothie into a glass, while dragging right pours into a coconut.
Underneath between the two sets of smoothie stations, there are refrigerators that can be opened to take other free food items, including frozen grapes, watermelon, and a selection of ice pops.

Halloween 2023 update[]
On October 16th, 2023, along with the 2023 Halloween update, the island was updated with the decorations from 2022.
Although the map updated, some areas (such as the campfire, main boat area and pageant house) did not get an update. This is most likely due to Royale High's smart load system (a system where objects load in depending on where the players character is). The areas were probably not updated due to the system. The GUI stayed the same from Tidalglow 2023.
Halloween 2022 update[]
On October 3rd, 2022, along with the 2022 Halloween update, the island was decorated by Vioncii along with new themes. The map turned purple with pumpkin, ghost and bat string lights. The Pageant lady was turned into a “ghost” as Vioncii stated.[citation needed]

Halloween 2019 update[]
During sometime in October of 2019, Sunset Island was updated with fall leaves around the front area and pumpkins. The pumpkins were scattered, and new themes were added.
Other information[]
- For a short time after release, the island was locked to level 40+ players for bugfixing and testing purposes.
- The Halloween 2019 event updated the island with seasonal decorations and a witch mini game.
- The New Years 2020 event updated the island with fireworks.
- There are two NPC's on sunset island. Pearl the Pageant Lady and Adam the Pageant Host.
