The specific problems are: Expand on customization for Campus 3
The Dorms are a location in Campus 3, Campus 2, and Campus 1.
Campus 3[]
Locations[]
To get to the Student Dormitory, players can walk up the stairs on the second floor in the Castle's Heart, head down the hall through a door in the Dormitory Bathing Quarters, or use the teleport scepter.
Prior to December 1, 2023, players could go to the Main Campus and head up the stairs (behind the Front Office) and go inside.
How to get a room[]
To get a dorm, a player can find the dorms after they walk up the stairs. There are two flights, with many rooms on each floor. A player can press the “Claim Dorm” prompt, and then the player will have a dorm. The player would automatically have their dorm key tool equipped in hand to allow them to open or close the door.
Customization[]
Furniture[]
- Main article: Furniture
If the player wants to add furniture into their dorm, they can press on the helmet on the side menu and then press "Furniture!" to access the catalog. It will initially bring up the "Shopping" tab, allowing players to buy items to put inside their dorm. The "Inventory" tab will show what items the player currently owns. Dragging any piece of furniture in the inventory out to the dorm room will place down the furniture.
Dorm Room[]
If the player wants to customize the walls of their dorm room, they must obtain 400 levels while in Campus 3 to unlock the "Construction Mode: Architect's Key" Sparkly Star Achievement. This will initially allow the player to change the color of their wall, wall trim, ceiling, floors, and the balcony.
Customization UI[]
Campus 2[]
Locations[]
To find the dorms, players can either head up the stairs near the hallway that leads to the Art Studio and Chemistry Lab, or they can use the elevator located beside the tables in the main area to teleport to the rooms.
How to get a room[]
To claim a room, players simply click on the heart next to the dorm. If it says "Move In!", there is a vacant room. Two people can live in the same dorm. To move out, you must click "Move In!" on a new dorm door. You can get a dorm room at any time whatsoever!
Design[]
Each dorm consists of:
- A large main room with a piano, a table for two people (and plates for placing food from the cafeteria), a kitchen, a TV with two bean bags (currently the TV only shows a rainbow of colors fading in and out), and potted plants. There is also a dip in the center of the floor where some small seats are, with a small table in between.
- Two bedrooms with a pink and blue door at the right of the entrance and at the back respectively. There are desks, mirrors, screens, balconies, chairs, bookshelves, ladders, etc. and basic furniture.
- The bedrooms' furniture can be changed in the menu. The furniture can be painted if the player clicks the "Dorm" button at the top of their screen and then clicks "Furniture Paint Brush".
- If the player sleeps in their bed within their dorm room for a certain amount of time, they will get messy hair. The hair cannot be removed through the dress up feature, or by changing outfits. To get rid of it, the player can go take a shower in the spa (Porcelain Thrones) and use conditioner, use a brush from the spa (Porcelain Thrones), or the player can reset via the Roblox menu.
- If the player sleeps in the bed, they will also recharge their energy for XP just like the bed in the Apartments. This feature was added in the Dewdrop Showers 2022 update.
- Each dorm has a window that will teleport you to a balcony (one for each room) outside of the school. Below shows where they teleport to.
Campus 1[]
Locations[]
To find the dorms, players can either go up the elevator and through the library, or up the stairs to the left of the Principal's Office.
How to get a room[]
To claim a room, players click on the nameplate that says "Claim Dorm". The player who occupies the room will be on the nameplate once the room is claimed. A dorm key can be found in the player's inventory if they own the room. Holding the key and walking near the door will open it.
Design[]
Each dorm consists of a small main room, with posters on the wall and two bean bags. At the back of the main room is an entrance to the balcony. There are two bedrooms per dorm; one on the right and one on the left. The bedrooms have a small bedside table for the alarm clock (which can be set), a desk with a computer (which, when the chair in front of it is sat upon, will pull up the Homework GUI), and a closet (which used to pull up the clothes GUI but, since it was redesigned, pulls up the shopping GUI), and a small floor mirror exclusive to the right room (for decorative purposes). Other furniture may be added from the catalog.
