Candy counter icon in Wickery Cliffs from Halloween 2021 and Halloween 2022
Candy is a currency in Royale High exclusive to the Halloween events, first introduced in the Halloween 2018 event. It is used to purchase some items exclusive to the Halloween events.
Obtaining[]
Candy could be obtained differently between the yearly Halloween events.
- In Halloween 2018, candy could be obtained by either trick-or-treating with other players, or by exchanging diamonds for candy.
- In Halloween 2019 after Autumn Town was re-introduced, candy could be obtained by trick-or-treating at houses in Autumn Town for 1 to 10 candies, or apple bobbing for a chance at 10 candies.
- In Halloween 2020, candy could be obtained by trick-or-treating at houses in Autumn Town for 1 to 10 candies, or apple bobbing for a chance at 10 candies.
- In Halloween 2021, candy could be obtained by trick-or-treating at houses in Wickery Cliffs for 1 to 10 candies, apple bobbing for a chance at 10 candies, ghost hunting in Blackwood Manor, or from one-time candy reward chests around the Wickery Cliffs map, mainly inside of the maze.
- In Halloween 2023, candy could be obtained by trick-or-treating at houses in Wickery Cliffs for 1 to 10 candies, apple bobbing for a chance at 15 candies (later changed to 25), ghost hunting in Blackwood Manor, from candy bowls found at Campus 3 which respawn after an hour, from candy bowls or tombstones placed in dorm rooms, or from one-time candy reward chests around the Wickery Cliffs map, mainly inside of the Blackwood Caverns.
For Halloween 2020 and Halloween 2021, candies not spent the previous year persisted and carried over until next year. This continued in both Halloween 2022 and Halloween 2023, and it is likely to continue for future updates.
Exchanging[]
In Halloween 2018, diamonds could be exchanged for candy, at a rate of three diamonds for one candy. Exchanging diamonds for candy had not returned until Halloween 2021.
In Halloween 2021, candy could be exchanged for diamonds, at the same rate. This was intended as an alternate diamond method for the event, to spend leftover candy, and can be still used in 2022 and 2023.
